Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an Express Entry pathway designed for individuals who have gained skilled work experience in Canada and want to transition to permanent residence. It recognizes the value of Canadian work experience and is one of the fastest routes to Canadian permanent residence for those who have already lived and worked in Canada.

To qualify for the CEC, you must have at least 12 months of full-time (or equivalent part-time) skilled work experience in Canada within the three years before you apply. Your work must fall under TEER Category 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). You must also meet minimum language requirements - CLB 7 for TEER 0 or 1 occupations, or CLB 5 for TEER 2 or 3 occupations.
