Study Permits
Application support for prospective international students, from letter of acceptance to permit approval.
Overview
A Canadian study permit is required for most international students who wish to study at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada for programs longer than six months. Canada is consistently ranked among the top destinations in the world for international education, offering high-quality academic programs, post-graduation work opportunities, and pathways to permanent residence.
To apply for a study permit, you must have an acceptance letter from a DLI, demonstrate sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses, and satisfy IRCC that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay unless you obtain permanent residence. Depending on your country of citizenship, you may also need to provide biometrics, a medical exam, or a police certificate.
Ginger Immigration supports international students in Chilliwack, BC and across Canada with every step of their study permit application - from reviewing your acceptance letter and assessing your eligibility, to preparing a complete application package and responding to IRCC requests. We also advise on maintaining your status while studying and planning your path to a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) upon graduation.
